Definitions

  • "Personal Information" means the details provided by you on registration;

  • "Website" means the website located at www.daisycottagedecor.co.uk or any subsequent URL which may replace it;
  • “Writing” or “Written” includes emails;

Purchase of Products

By placing an order through our Website, you agree that you are:

  • legally capable of entering into binding contracts;
  • at least 18 years old;
  • resident in the United Kingdom

An email address must be entered to place an order with us. By placing an order with us you agree that email will be used as the standard means of communication. When placing an order you will have the option to be added to our newsletter emailing list. You can opt out at any time by clicking on the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any marketing email.

After placing an order, you will receive a confirmation email from us acknowledging the order has been received, you must check that this confirmation email states the order is correct and if there are any changes/errors please inform us using the instructions detailed in the email. We will then issue an email confirming when the product/products have been dispatched and by which delivery method that will indicate the approximate delivery time. The contract between you and us will only be formed when we have sent you the order confirmation email.


 Non-acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following:

  • The Product you ordered being unavailable from stock.
  • Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment.
  • The identification of a pricing or product description error.
  • You not meeting the eligibility to order criteria set out in these Terms and Conditions.

If we are unable to accept your order, we will inform you of this and will not charge you for the product.

Product Description

We will take great care to ensure that all details and descriptions of products on the Website are correct at the time of inputting them onto our system. Although we aim to keep the Website as up to date as possible, the information appearing on this Website at a particular time may not always reflect the position exactly at the moment you place an order, especially stock levels.

The images of the products on this Website are for illustrative purposes only. Every effort is made to display the colours accurately, but we cannot guarantee that all devices display all of the colours accurately. Your products may vary slightly from those images.

 

Prices and Payments

The price of the products on the Website are inclusive of VAT. Despite our best efforts, human error may occur and some of the products we sell may be incorrectly priced. We will normally check prices before accepting your order and you should also check your order confirmation email so that, where a product’s correct price at your order date is less than our stated price at your order date, we will charge the lower amount. If the product’s correct price at your order date is higher than the price stated to you, we will contact you for your instructions before we accept your order. If we accept and process your order where a pricing error is obvious and easily recognised by you as a mispricing, we may end the contract and refund you any sums you have paid and require the return of any products provided to you.


We accept payments with VISA, Mastercard, Stripe and PayPal. You must pay for the products before we dispatch them. We will charge your credit or debit card at the point of sale, when you complete your order with us. Prices are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect orders that have already been sent an order confirmation email. Every effort has been made on this Website to ensure that shopping online is safe and secure. We cannot be responsible for the fraudulent use on our Website of a lost credit card, but will assist your credit card company where necessary once you have reported the fraud to them.

 

Delivery

Our standard delivery charges are:

  • £1.95 for orders up to £7.99
  • £3.95 for orders £8-£29.99
  • £5.95 for orders £30-£69.99
  • £7.95 for orders £70-£99.99
  • We offer FREE delivery on all orders over £99.99 which will be displayed to you at the point of checkout prior to payment.


From receipt of your order and payment in full we aim to dispatch orders within 2-3 working days, stock permitting. Large items requiring a courier delivery service can take up to 7 working days.

We will always attempt to consolidate multiple orders in one shipment. Due to stock and packaging requirements, products may be shipped over several days and in more than one package.

If the delivery is delayed by an event outside of our control then we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and we will take steps to minimise the effect of the delay. Provided we do this, we will not be liable for delays caused by the event, but if there is a risk of substantial delay you may contact us to end the contract and receive a refund for any products you have paid for but not received. The products will become your responsibility from the time we deliver them to the address you have provided. You will own the products once we have received payment in full. Returns

Changed you mind? Not a problem.

We accept returns without any questions. We want you to be utterly delighted with your purchases.

So on the off chance that you do change your mind about an item, you may return it to us within 28 days of receipt. Returns should be in unused condition and packaged in the original packaging - if there are instructions/screws etc these should be included. Postage costs are your responsibility and we ask that you attain proof of postage and recommend you add insurance for larger expensive items as we cannot refund damaged or lost in transit items. Please email us so we know to expect the item.

All returns should be sent to : Daisy Cottage Décor, Unit 24, City Way Trade Park, Bradford, West Yorkshire, BD4 7NP. Once we have received the returned item we will issue a refund.


Arrived damaged in transit ?

We are very sorry if an item has arrived damaged in transit.

Please send photos and details of the damage to customerservices@daisycottagedecor.co.uk as soon as possible. We will happily issue a refund or send a replacement. 


Your Rights to end the Contract

Your rights when you end the contract will depend on :

  • If we have told you about an error in the price or description of the product you have ordered and you do not wish to proceed
  • There is a risk that supply of the product may be significantly delayed because of events outside our control

You have a legal right to change your mind within 14 days and receive a refund. These rights, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 , are that you have 14 days after the day you receive the product unless the products are split into several deliveries over different days. In this case you have until 14 days after the day you receive the last delivery to change your mind about the products. 

 

To end the contract with us, please email us at customerservices@daisycottagedecor.co.uk and provide your name, home address, details of the order, your phone number and email address.

If you end the contract for any reason after products have been dispatched or you have received them, you must return them to us at Daisy Cottage Décor, Unit 24 City Way Trade Park, Square Street, Bradford, West Yorkshire, BD4 7NP. If you are exercising your right to change your mind please send the products within 14 days of informing us that you wish to end the contract. All Products must be returned in their original packaging (including the outer box and any screws/instructions etc) and in the condition in which they were received. All postage costs are your responsibility unless the products are faulty or damaged, if this is the case we will refund you for the products and the postage costs once the products have been received by us. Please obtain proof of postage as we cannot refund for products which have been lost/misplaced by a delivery company.

 

Loss or damage

We are not liable for products/orders lost or damaged in the post but we will endeavour to pursue the delivery company in order to trace and gain reimbursement for such losses/damages that may have occurred. We will refund you for any damaged/faulty products as stated above. We are not liable for business losses. We only supply products for domestic and private use. If you use the products for any commercial, business or re-sale purpose we will have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.
